Security
-
Institutional --
All users of Estudias can see the contacts
made by any other user
-
Group (default)
-- Users within a group can see the contacts made by
any other user within the group. Users in other
groups can not even see that the student made
contact with other groups
-
User --
only the user who created the
contact can see it. Other users cannot even
see that the student made a contact
An upcoming version will
allow further restrictions based on the notes field.
For example, a user would be able to see that the
student made a contact with a group, but not see the
notes of that contact. This may be appropriate for some
groups (i.e. IR) that do not need to see what exactly
was said, but may want to see the number or type of
contacts to assess the impact of engagement. On the
other hand, some groups (i.e. Counseling) might see the
fact that the student had a contact with the group as
private information (even without the notes of what was
said).
